Outlook Error – 0x800CC79

There seems to be a problem with my mail, I keep getting the following error message:

 

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was ''. Subject: '', Account: '', Server: '', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 ... Relaying Denied', Port: 25, Secure (SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

 

What should I do, how can this error be corrected?

 

When trying to send an email message you receive the following error that your email message can’t be sent due to SMTP rely blocking.

 

The cause of this error is due to the fact that all SMTP servers within the O2Link network require what is called “SMTP Authentication”. Without this setting turned on, you will keep getting the above error. Please enable this setting within your email client.

 

Please note that not all providers in the United States allow users to access Port 25 (SMTP). There are many that block such ports. Please find a list of a few below:
