Server resource limits

Do you have restrictions on the accounts?
 
Yes, O2Link enforces rules where customers are not permitted to be using more then 25% of the entire server resources for more then 90 seconds.
 
For example, if you are using a script that is poorly written and you are using more then 25% for 90 seconds your account maybe suspended pending an account review.
 
Please find below the terms of this:
 
The customer must not:

  • Use 25% or more of system resources for longer then 90 seconds. Applications include: FTP, PHP, HTTP, CGI, PERL, and others.
  • File sharing on the O2Link network is forbidden, this includes peer-to-peer actives.
  • Run any sort of software that interfaces with an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) network.
  • Run any stand-alone, unattended server-side processes at any point in time on the server.
  • This includes any and all daemons, such as IRCD.
  • Run CRON entries with intervals of less than 15 minutes
