How do I create a category in WordPress?

In order to be able to keep things organized in WordPress, there is a couple of things that you can do. One of them is creating a category for each subject matter. Below is a better example of how to do just that:
 
  1. Login to your WordPress administration center (/wp-admin/)
  2. Click on “Manage”
  3. Then on “Categories”
  4. Once in the categories section, you can create, remove and edit all the categories.
Please be aware that removing a category will not remove all the posts under it, but will actually place all those posts in the “Uncategorized” category of WordPress.
 
  1.  If you would like to organize all the posts under one category, please go ahead and click on “Posts” and edit each post to edit the category that it is classified under.
