How do I make SSI (Server Side Includes) work in .html?

So you have a .html pages and want to make SSI (Server Side Includes) work on your pages. By default SSI is only supported in .shtml format.
Below you will be able to find out how to make SSI work in html pages. Please follow the simple steps below:
 
1.      Please login to your cPanel account.
2.      Please go to “Apache Handlers”
3.      In the first box please type “server-parsed”
4.      In the second box, please type “.html or .htm or .etc...”
5.      Then click “add”
 
Once you have done the above either (dependant on what you have chosen either .html or .htm) the .html or htm pages will start to work with SSI.
