Connection to the server was interrupted?
 
There are some different reasons to why your service may not be working. Please ensure that the followings are not factors contributing to your outlook not working.
 
Configurations – Please ensure that you have correctly configured your Outlook / Outlook Express software to some of the examples we have listed below:
 
POP Server: mail.yoursite.com
SMTP Server: mail.yoursite.com
 
Password: Your_Password
 
ISP – Please ensure that your ISP has not blocked port 25. You can check this by viewing a list below that outlines which ISP (Internet Service Providers) have blocked port #25.
 
 
Software – If you are currently using any of the following Firewalls or Anti-Virus systems it is advised that you disable them while doing the tests. Please find the list below:
 
  • Norton (Symantec)
  • MacAfee
  • Cisco
Additional Outlook configurations that you may try:
 
You can always trying to do some of the following configurations from within your Outlook and Outlook Express clients:
 
  1. Start Outlook.
  2. On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
  3. Click View or change existing e-mail accounts, and then click Next.
  4. Click your POP3 account, and then click Change.
  5. Click More Settings.
  6. Click the Advanced tab.
  7. Gradually increase the server timeout setting until the issue is resolved.
